Justification:
Capacity of a product which have the quality to become tops & bottoms is called garment where tops include the head consideration, two hands & cover bust area and bottoms include waist consideration, two legs & cover lower hip area.
On the other hand, apparel can be the garment as well as the accessories including the decorative items is defined as apparel.
To elaborate further, the term “apparel” is a more inclusive term than “garment.” It encompasses all types of clothing, including garments, but also includes accessories, footwear, and other items that are worn for functional or decorative purposes.
For example: Caps, Shocks, Anklet & Shoe are apparel but not garments. Again, Sharee doesn’t fulfill the requirement of tops & bottoms that’s why Sharee is not garment but apparel.
Again, “Garment” refers to a single piece of clothing, while “apparel” refers to clothing in general, including multiple pieces or types of clothing. So, all garments can be considered as a type of apparel, but not all apparels can be considered as garments.
For example, a suit is a type of garment because it is a single piece of clothing worn on the body, but it is also a type of apparel because it is a set of coordinated clothing items, including a jacket, pants, and sometimes a vest. On the other hand, accessories like belts, scarves, or hats are considered as apparel, but they are not garments since they are not worn directly on the body.
So, in summary, all garments are a type of apparel, but not all apparel is a garment because apparel can refer to any type of clothing, including accessories, while a garment specifically refers to a single piece of clothing worn on the body.
