In Bangladesh, textiles and clothing manufacturing companies are growing swiftly to serve the huge population as well as the export sector, which is flourishing due to the availability of skilled labor. Approximately 80% of total export earnings are derived from the export of this product. In Bangladesh, which is the world’s second largest exporter of readymade garments (RMG), there are approximately 385 spinning mills, 721 weaving mills, 800 export-oriented knit composite mills and 2000 locally-oriented knit composite mills, 310 dyeing, printing, finishing mills, and 5063 export-oriented Ready Made Garments (RMG). There are many Textile University and colleges.
