- For Stitch types-101:
- Sewing consumption= 3+2TS
- For Stitch types-301:
- Sewing consumption= 2+2TS
- For Stitch types-401:
- Sewing consumption= 4+2TS
- For Stitch types-500:
- Sewing consumption= 3+4S(W+T)
- T= Thickness of seam
- S= Number stich per inch
- W= Wide of seam
Problem-1: If the seam thickness is 0.005 inch and the number of stitches is 9 per inch, find the yarn consumption for stitch type 101.
